Lourdes Ubidia is a New York born illustrator and animator. She attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, and graduated from The City College of New York with a BFA. Originally interested solely in illustrative work intended for children, she has since developed a passion for animation that has led her to seek opportunities in the field of television and online programming for younger audiences and families. She has lent a hand in creating content for companies such as CardSnacks and PilarToons, LLC. Her animation work has been shown in college festivals.

Lourdes’s style is heavily vector based, textured and family-friendly, with an emphasis on vibrant colors and round shapes and curves. Lourdes is highly influenced by Nickelodeon programming from the '90s, as well as animated films created by Cartoon Saloon. When she is not partaking in her craft, she can be found dog walking on any given day, or simply strumming a guitar. However, more times than not, she is probably re-watching one of her favorite films or TV shows to seek inspiration for her next project.
